The best place in Cozumel for fresh food!!! I got a “mangada” which was a non-alcoholic water based mango smoothie with a tajin chili rim on the glass… SURREAL deliciousness!! while ordering I asked if the fruit juices were organic, and it turns out they use real organic fresh fruit for everything!! from the juice to the salsa! Oh man, the sauces! Conveniently packaged in squirt bottles so you can taste them in small doses on each taco bite.. brilliant! Verde sauce the mildest packed with fresh flavor! Next on the spiciness level the jalapeño pineapple one, my favorite!!! Next the chipotle morita, amazing too! And finally the habanero with smokey undertones. Kept trying each sauce to see which one I liked best, and it was impossible they were all 5-star. We had the flank steak tacos w cheese (cheese on top) and I had the quesadilla with flank steak (cheese below meat lol). They were so good that I forgot to take a pic before we wolfed them down!! Then our flight left at 3pm the next day and they open at 5pm so we missed out… I would plan a whole tip to Cozumel just for these tacos though!! Open late!! Do...
Read moreThis establishment is a staple of Cozumel tourism, a must do if you will. Not only are the prices 3-4x below that of the average beach club, but the food is simply exquisite. Tacos, amazing. Choriqueso, mind blowing. And a beer bucket for the price of a small margarita at a beach club. This place is simply the best. Friendly staff, specifically Gustavo, that doesn’t just want to scam you for your hard earned dollar. The cherry on top is that the staff allows you to paint on small wooden boards and glues them into the spot of your choosing. If you are dining on a budget or in the city for a day or two, The Juan and Only is a must try for...
Read moreSuper easy and quaint spot in Cozumel. I found this on Google maps and the reviews drew me in. The tacos are great, no fish tacos but lots of meat and about two or three veggie options. I had brisket and my guy had chicken and really loved it. Our daughter has quesadilla. Three provided sauces were different and delicious. One was a pineapple one and it got the most use. Also tried the casuela de nopales which is a traditional vegetable and cheese dish in a clay pot for sharing. It was a perfect dinner for a night out in town. Also painting! At your table! Fun, easy, good food. Staff were also attentive and kind, professional...
