There are restaurants that don’t get much attention at all. In fact, if I wasn’t walking by this place, I wouldn’t even have known about it. Gaia, Casa 46 and Pedro y Lola are mostly the chatter when talking about Plaza Machado restaurants.
The color of the sauce the lasagne sits in, is pumpkin colored. Okay, not what I was expecting but okay. It is molten lava hot. Unable to taste anything, I can judge by the gummy consistency, this may be tough going.
It looks like the whole dish was built in a blender then molded into shape, like a McNugget. It’s no wonder it’s served with a spoon.
It’s not terrible. Maybe it’s not their best dish but it’s not so bad that I’ll write the place off in the future. At least the Pacificos...

The calamari was not served hot - seemed as though it was prepared ahead of time and kept warm. For the main course we ordered: ribeye steak, lasagna and pepperoni pizza. The ribeye steak was really bad - looked slimey and tasted strange not like beef (not edible). The lasagna was obviously reheated from frozen - did not taste good. My wife had the Lasagna. It was ok, maybe not their best dish. Our friend liked their pasta and the flan. The music on Sunday night was fantastic. This guy played for 2 hours with no break.
