The best seafood restaurant in Mazatlan!!! We have been to a few and non, I mean non, beats this palace. We have been to Los Palapas, which food was ok there. Los Arcos is too pricey and food was ok too. El Torito, that place was bland, pricey, and service sucked. We almost gave up looking for good seafood till someone recommended this place. We asked all the locals and they didn't even recommended this place probably cause they don't go here. Who knows? We're from Guadalajara and we're known for good food. So we know what taste good. We decided to give it a shot on our last day and left us impressed and wish we could have known about this place sooner.

Soon as we entered, service was superb! The hostess sat us by the beach waterfront, the decor of the place is very romantic and welcoming. We sat down and I ordered a margarita and my lady ordered pina colada. My margarita was strong! But tasted damn good too! Piña colada wasn't that strong but I mentioned it to the waiter and she brought a few shots out to pour in! We order the Queso Tequila, they did a show with it and mixed in front of us. Wow! Good cheese! It had three cheese, queso Chihuahua, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Then we ordered Langosta, excellent flavor! As we sat eating the owner served us two free rounds of tequila shots and Kaluiha shots! Wow! Never once had this happened at any restaurant! Finally for the gran final, I ordered a Mexican Cafe. That was amazing! They do a fire 🔥 show with it, and has two types of drinks in it. Very good! Def a must have! If we ever come back here will...

This was probably.one of the most unpleasant dining experiences we've had in Mazatlan. We reserved a table for 9. We were on the second floor. The person who made the booking was not familiar with that location and when asked was told they had an elevator as two persons have mobility issues. When we arrived and asked, they just laughed at her. Crowded back to back at the tables, with long benches. Where this group of seniors had to scoot along the bench . Not easy for senior with mobility issues. All I all very crowded and noisy. The service was timely. That's where the good stops. 3 had the honey garlic salmon which had a vague taste of honey on the side that was slightly browned. The salmon itself was raw except for the edges. Interior raw and cold. The pasta, spaghetti, half cup at the most also cold and tasteless, no sauce, the side of vegetables were cold, on all the fish plates One had tuna, it was still frozen, ice through more than half the piece. One had the garlic fish which was devoid if garlic. The side of vegetables were warm except for the cold cauliflower. The wait staff ignored our complaints but did take the tuna back and had it cooked. The one with the Mexican plate stated she was okay with it. Also the Ribs and Chicken cor don blue were satisfactory. Though the chicken appeared to be burnt on top. They didn't need to bother with the post meal drink as it consisted of milk and maybe Kahlua. The individual sized birthday cake was a nice touch. We had brought our own cake however it took sometime for the wait staff...

After a bad first experience related to wait and seating arrangement I decided to give the place another try. We waited 1.5 hours for a table, only to be sat next to 3 tables of overly intoxicated people screaming at each other competing for who could tell the loudest story. The staff kept bringing shot after shot and the people next to us kept getting louder and louder as the binge drinking continued. We have a home here in Mazatlán, my wife is from here and I was completely embarrassed to have brought my kids and parents (who were visiting mazatlan for the first time) here. Puro barachos. This place is NOT family friendly. I brought it to the owners attention and he did absolutely nothing about it and instead encouraged more noise and drinking. They brought an 18 year old kid a cigar and encouraged him to light up right next to us. He offered nothing, not even an apology for the complete drunken disaster sitting next to us. The entire experience was a total nightmare.

The food is over priced and average tasting. I lost my appetite and was unable to hold a basic conversation with my family the entire hour it took to take our order and bring our food. By the time the food came I asked them to bring the check, tipped, paid and left. I will never go back and would not encourage any family...

A late Saturday afternoon lunch was in order, so Pancho's north was my pick. A long-established local favorite it's is reputation, and I wanted to see for myself what the fuss was all about. The place was sparkling clean, and the staff was ready for us immediately. The drinks and guacamole dip, which were excellent, arrived quickly. Along with a complementary stuffed and breaded pepper. That small treat was delicious. I ordered the Pescado Zarrandiado, a butterflied whole Red Snapper served with grilled onions and peppers and with steamed veggies and rice. It was absolutely amazing, and I destroyed the plate with swallowing a single spine! My cousins had a bacon cheeseburger and an Arrachera plate to round out the order, and both got thumbs up. Then, to complete the meal, a round of complementary shots of Kalua were served 👌. Pancho's certainly lived up to its reputation, says I. The prices are moderate, and the atmosphere was relaxing and not too loud, as some restaurants can be in this town. The lead server Alberto, I believe, did a wonderful job taking care of our request. The only item that prevented a perfect score was the extraordinarily long wait for the main courses, which faded as I stuffed my face with the Red Snapper! Happy eats!
