Come here for a really good, and CHEAP taco night. Taco's were $2 each CAN. You pick your meat (beef, chorizo, pastor) and what kind of tortilla you want (flour or corn). The pastor is a kind of donair log made of pork that they shave slices off, by far the BEST and most flavorful of the bunch. They bring you your taco (order 2-3 to save time) and then you take it over to the condiment station and add your guac, sauces, cabbage, pico, cucumber, onion etc. The taco itself seems paltry, but once you add your fixings, you will walk away stuffed after 3. The staff are making, rolling, pressing and frying the tortillas right there in front of you. I don't really care for the corn kind, too rubbery and floppy, but the flour ones are incredibly fresh and soft. Flagging down a server is tough, so order lots when you do manage it. We had a couple of servers on our visit; one really good and one totally disinterested. Great place for people watching too.
April 2024 - Tried the loaded baked potatoe this time and I might be a convert, wow just so good and covered in stuff AND after you add your toppings at the station it could easily feed two ppl. I will say however that the service at TSP is not great, certainly worse than it was in 2022. You will wait so long for every stage of your dining experience, and the bill will often be wrong, so check their work. It's nice that they opened another location closer to the Malecon...
Read moreWe enjoyed everything about this restaurant. It is relatively clean, extremely friendly, and most importantly it offers delightful yummy tacos! We ordered the Al Pastor, Asada, and shrimp tacos. They were well cooked with full flavors. Love the sides that are being offered. My mom ordered Asada quesadilla and she likes it. The restaurant has no indoor seating, only outdoor so absolutely no air conditioning. Lots of ceiling fans. Fairly comfortable for me but it was a bit too hot for my son. The price seems to be very reasonable. Our check came out to be 508 pesos for 9 tacos, 2 quesadillas, 3 waters, and one sangria. Overall wonderful place to get tacos. Highly recommended...
Read moreIf you are looking for some delicious tacos in Mazatlán, look no further than Taqueria San Pablo. The tacos were delicious! They use top sirloin and cook it to perfection. We tried the Taco Macho which was a handmade tortilla with a grilled Anaheim Chile, cheese and grilled shrimp, and let me tell you they were the bomb 💣! We also tried the Al Pastor and it was also delicious. The tacos are served plain, but you can use the self serve station that features fresh guacamole, 3 types of salsa, pickled onions, pico de gallo, and a few other goodies. This is a must for all taco lovers...
