Anyone looking for a great hearty breakfast this is your spot. Before i go into the food I really want to point out the fact that they take disinfecting and cleaning very serious here. It is the ONLY RESTAURANT and is seriously mean the ONLY RESTAURANT that i have seen actively and without hesitation clean, disinfect and change out all table cloths immediately after each party leaves. Here you do not have to wonder whether or not the table you are sitting at is safe, because you actually see the cleaning and disinfecting in progress through out your meal. Not to mention they have electronic menus (I did not have my phone so they gave me a hard copy of the menu) you can look at from your phone and entering and leaving there will always be someone opening the door so you do not touch the handle. I'm gratefully you are all taking the necessary steps to protect your guests. Thank you for that. Service: The service was what i expect from a restaurant, the lady was kind, quick, and very attentive to our every needs. Not only did i like the service our waiter provided, I really enjoyed the fact that other waiter as they passed by our table asked us if we needed anything. I really enjoyed this because as you all may have experienced, sometimes you need something and your waiter may be indisposed for whatever reason and you are left trying to flag down whoever to get help. Here you do have to wait because you whether its your server or someone else, they will always stop by and ask if you are doing OK or need anything. Well done. Food: The plates where very well served! You get a lot of food, and i believe the average price per plate rages from 130-140 pesos which is about $6-7 dollars i think the most expensive thing i saw was the tongue plate at 150 which was $7.50. Give or take. For the amount off food you get the price itself is pretty good. As far as the flavor goes: My plate was Mix Chilaquiles with barbacoa. Comes with an order plate of Barbacoa, 1 egg, beans and chilaquiles. The chilaquiles where toasty, and crunchy. The Barbacoa was flavorful and well seasoned. The beans you could tell they are home made, not some pasty refried looking things you get from a bag. They did not have spicy salsa, but they did bring out some grilled jalapenos which did well. I think they called those Chiles toreados. The "Cafe de Olla" was probably some of the tastiest coffee i have had. Mind you do not put any more sugar because it is made with something called pilonsillo. I guess is some type of cooked sugar, taste kinda like sweet cinnamon but not really. Try it you will see what i mean. Great place definitely recommend it. I have been to Ocho octavos, and Bamboo, which are similar restaurants near by. I will tell you out of those Mi Ranchito is far superior in all aspects from food options, cleanliness, price and service. Hope you all give Mi...
Read moreThis place is top notch of what you will find in mazatlan. It was very clean and the staff was so polite and attentive. The best part was obviously the food. Started off with queso fresco and mashed avocado. That was some of the creamiest cheese I've ever had! Served with homemade tortillas..can it get better? Yes! The barbacoa/carnitas combination plate my partner was finger licking! I got the chilaquiles en salsa verde with carne asada. That sauce was almost as good as my mom's, and that's saying something (I AM Mexican, so based off experience, I declare myself as a salsa expert/entrepreneur😉) The steak was tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the chips had an amazing, home made crunch. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the chips are a CRUCIAL piece to chilaquiles, coming second only to the salsa. We had to try the pay de guayaba. I then wished I had enough room to eat a whole slice myself. The only regret I have, is not going back a second time in the 6 days...
Read moreGood food but overall not satisfied with their service. We waited a long time to get our food and then stared at our food for another 10 minutes to get the attention of our waitress to get our utensils. My husband had to get up to get the utensils before the waitress even got back. This is Wednesday, I don’t even want to think about being here on a weekend.
Ordered enfrijoladas with chicharrón, huevos divorciados, chilaquiles which we’re all...
