Bar Guau Guau — Restaurant in Sonora

If you are an American, don't give them a credit card. Been a fan of this place for years but this time around was very rushed, never was able to sit down, taken into the private area once entering the front door. When I gave them a credit card to pay for services, they said my card was declined, so gave them a 2nd card. I didn't sign anything to agree on the amount. When I got my credit card alert the next day, the cost did go through on the first card, and on the 2nd one...not only that, there was another charge I'm not even sure what for. The total was upward to $800. This is such a scam and a disgusting one. We drop alot of money in this place and they lie like pigs. I had to have my credit cards closed and reported these charges as fraud. It's despicable a country would take advantage of those who spend money there, won't get going to Rocky Point anytime soon because of this, if not ever again. Liars...

Mrs and I hit this place up on a Tuesday when everything else was closed after 10pm. No cover charge but they did offer to keep a special eye on my truck when we pulled so I dropped a 20 in the jar at the door. Typical Rocky Point bar inside with lots of cheap drinks. The girls were quite attractive and I think my Mrs spent more on them than I did. It had been years since Mrs and I hit up a gentleman's club but after going here I think we will back again....everyone was friendly and my wife felt totally comfortable being there. Would recommend and go back! Thanks for a fun evening and yes, my truck was safe and sound...

This place is ANTI American! Went, ordered a couple of beers, server came back and said 60 pesos ($3.50 US), I gave her 500 pesos, she came back and said they did not have change and would NOT accept payment. I asked what now and she said do you have dollars, I said yes and asked how much, she said $5.50!

She never came back so we took our money elsewhere, like back to the...
