Tekila Bar — Restaurant in Sonora

I visited this restaurant with my wife and family on April 17, 2025, after researching it on Google Maps and seeing positive reviews. The location is a bit tricky to find as it's on the second floor, and the elevator was out of service during our visit. If you have mobility issues, you might want to reconsider visiting.

The restaurant offers great views, fresh air, and allows smoking inside, which we appreciated. The service was excellent; the staff communicated clearly and did their best to accommodate us. Prices are reasonable for a tourist spot, and the murals on the walls are quite interesting. However, the chairs are somewhat uncomfortable for larger individuals.

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It was excessively oily and greasy, possibly due to old or poor-quality oil. For seven people, the bill came to a little over $200. While the views and drinks are nice, I would likely choose a different restaurant next time I'm...

I would leave 0 stars if I could. So I showed up with a party of 9 around 7:45pm. The place says restaurant in the front, so we figured it would be ok to bring kids. Well we ordered food, and after the waiter says the food will takes 30 minutes. Which we were ok with, as time passed on the music got louder. 45 minutes into our stay our food isnt ready, so I asked what was going on. The waiter response was bringing out 3 shots, which I rejected. Then we waited another 10 minutes to find out what was going on. We decided to leave and only pay for our drinks in which the GM offered to give us our food for half off of we stayed and made excuses telling us we were warned about the long wait for food. Which I reiterated, we were told 30 minutes not and hour. I paid and left...my conclusion is THIS IS NOT A FAMILY...

Someone recommended this place to me.. it's designed very nicely but we didn't have a great experience.. both of our dishes.. an omelette and a burrito took a very long time to come out.. and They weren't very busy.. They apologized for the wait proactively... but then the food came out and was wrong.. both were supposed to be chorizo.. the omelette had no meat at all.. and the burrito was made with bacon.. we told them and still got charged full price.. nice presentation, bad execution, and bad resolution.. I should probably give 2 stars but I'm giving extra points for the atmosphere compared to the surroundings.. 2 floors.. bar on the first and more of a restaurant on the second.. decent view.. I come to PP often but won't be coming back to this place any time soon...
