Restaurante Hotel Casa San Juan — Restaurant in Valladolid

The rooms are not equipped with hairdryers and upon request the lady told me that she didn't have any and that she couldn't do anything about it. The wi-fi does not work properly (in the rooms it doesn't work).||Once we entered the room we immediately heard a strange buzzing of insects coming from one of the wooden beams (it was full), there was a real nest. Also there were some big insects around the room (like cockroaches) and wood butterflies. Furthermore, the bed sheets were full of stains of liquids similar to blood/pus at the height of the legs, indicating that there had been several insect bites on the previous unfortunate victims. We asked to change rooms and for the first night they put us in an "emergency" room, similar to a closet and the second night in a room without insect infestations but still with the blankets full of stains.||Last unpleasant surprise, despite breakfast starting at 7:00, when we showed up they told us that unfortunately it wasn't ready yet and that we would have to wait at least another twenty minutes (we couldn't wait because we had a visit scheduled, so we lost the money of breakfast).||Terrible hotel, not recommended....

We booked this hotel, because we had one spare night left in Vallodalid and it’s very good value for money! We paid 40 eur through booking.com for one night in a room, including breakfast.

First of all we received a response from the hotel after we’ve booked to let us know that they’ll be there when we arrive. Which is also new to us. Furthermore, when we arrived they knew our names and could directly lead us to our room. We were in room number 7, which was a nice separate room. The room was extremely tidy and clean and was also spacious.

The really only thing was that the hotel is next to something like a farm and there are multiple roosters saying good morning from 5.30 am. So don’t forget your earplugs. Besides that , somebody decided to walk the stairs next to us and the remove above us, many times between 7-9.

The breakfast was good, not amazing, but great service though and they made custom vegetarian food for us.

Overall 5 stars because of price, but really a 4.8 because of the noise in...
