Madeleine — Restaurant in Veracruz

Came in right before closing time, and they gladly accepted us. After having a terrible experience at another restaurant. Clearly, we are American, so reading the menu posed a little problem. A few customer knew English, and helped us order. The staff was great, efficient, and the food was AMAZING!! after we ate, we stayed and talked, and little did we know the owner and her family were there. Best experience we've had since we've been in Mexico!! Wish we would have found...

¡Una fonda en la que vale la pena comer! Nos atendieron muy bien, todas las chicas de la fonda muy amables y además la comida estaba *DELICIOSA. Es una fonda popular, con buena selección de música local de fondo, con volumen adecuado para poder platicar. Ofrecen servicio a la carta, corrida y paquetes. Yo compré un paquete, el cual terminé compartiendo porque las porciones estaban bastante bien servidas. Un caldo de jaiba, luego un ceviche con un toque delicioso de mantequilla y al final un filetazo de pescado. Y todo por un *SUPER PRECIO. Además está a una cuadra del malecón, con lo cual queda bien ubicado y hace aire muy rico que viene de la costa.
