McCarthy's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Veracruz

Went twice during Carnaval week. Service was perfect the first time, second not as excellent but it was crowded so I’ll factor that it. NO WIFI, which was disappointing for a tourist area. Live music is great, bathrooms were clean. Avoid the food, at all costs. They tell you the sliders are actually a single burger, which is not what the menu described. Chicken tenders were actually half tenders, half wings. Wings were dry. The burger had lettuce that had to be removed because it was wilted and dirty. Fries were ok. No parking. Some parts of the space do not receive air...

You can see a lot of beers listed in their menu, but they barely have 3 or 4 out of the tens they show there. Besides, the music, regardless of the day or show, it's very loud. Not saying it should be low, but it is that loud, that most of the times, and I've been there several times, and in Puebla, too, you can barely chat with your friends.

Antes de la pandemia dije: Buenos precios, buenas porciones, promociones constantes, meseros amables y buena vibra. Ideal para echar unas chelas desestresantes y comer sin quedar descapitalizado de la quincena godinez! Hoy después de 2 años fui y me quedé solo por el morbo de ver q mas sucedía pues desde que llegué todo tenía una pinta negativa; comenzando por q nadie estaba atento a la entrada de los clientes, seguido de la mesera andaba sin cubrebocas, después vi q en cocina andaban igual (sin ningún cuidado manipulando los alimentos) y ya como cereza del pastel personal de barra y meseros sintiéndose dueños del lugar, se pusieron a chupar, valiendoles cacahuate el negocio!!! por lo q tardaban una eternidad en atender la mesa. Es un a verdadera lastima ver como un grupo de empleados irresponsables echa a perder una cadena q debería ser prospera por todo el capital y logística q están detrás de ella. Como segunda cereza del pastel a pesar de la oscuridad todo se ve sucio y deteriorado, los baños parecen de gasolinera!!! No se si sea bueno para alguien pero en este lugar a pesar del semáforo naranja, pareciera q el covid no existe...
