Cactus — Restaurant in Centru Sector

It's been a long time since we've had such an unwelcoming, almost hostile experience as here in Cactus.

Waiter only communicated monosyllabicly and had an almost hostile attitude towards us. I really have no idea what we did wrong to him. Nobody answered when we pushed the waiter call button. When i finally got hold of the waiter, he came and silently put the pin machine in front of me, again with that passive-aggressive stance.

We speak enough Russian to order food in a friendly manner so i don't think the problem was a language barrier.

Oh, the food was ok. Bit bland and nothing special but I can't say anything negative about it. Price wise, it was upmarket.

Beautiful decor with great services, although I couldn't get to the seats inside as there was reserved for private dining. The waiters were kind and caring. We ordered three appetisers: Veal Carpaccio, Veal tartare and Mushroom cream soup. All of them generously served way more than we expected. I was nearly full by the time when I finished eating them! At the entrance the temperature isn't checked and you're not offered disinfectant. The couch looks comfortable but not until you sit( where your chin almost reaches the table, and it becomes pretty uncomfortable to eat.). Prices are too high for a simple dish. We weren't informed that at terrace people can freely smoke, not even a sign. Ordering a lemonade with orange and another with ginger, we received just a simple plain lemonade which tasted like water with citric acid.
