La Șezătoare — Restaurant in Centru Sector

We walked into the restaurant with nobody to greet us, when I finally found the barman and asked for a table he looked at me with a look of "why am I bothering him" and just shrugged his shoulders and said seat yourself. I had to get up and get menus myself because it was several minutes and nobody came to the table. When it was several minutes later I went out of the dining room and said hi to a staff person who was just standing by the bar. He didn't acknowledge me or say I'll be right with you or anything like that ....just again kind of looked at me with a blank stare. And then at least 5 or 10 minutes later finally a server appeared.... We really were about to leave. His entire demeanor just looked like he didn't want to be there. The food arrived in was just basic nothing too fabulous. The chicken goulash had no sauce like you would expect in a goulash just pieces of chicken with sauteed onions. Other than the cute decor there's nothing really high to recommend about...

Pretty good food for okay prices in a nice setting which happened to have AWFUL radio music playing when I visited (plus the waiter’s phone). Realised later we could have sat in a different section to avoid that. Would love to hear some traditional Moldovan music to accompany these lovely local flavours. This restaurant was recommended highly by my accommodation. It’s got a lot of traditional dishes and they won’t disappoint. They also have quite nice juices and non-traditional extras on the menu to help keep the overall meal healthy, modern and comfortable.
