Ayanchin Downtown Restaurant — Restaurant in Ulaanbaatar

I had wanted to dine here for a long time but was ultimately disappointed.

I ordered a rib eye steak and their special Ayanchin tea. After placing my order, I realized they hadn't asked me about the meat's doneness, so I made sure to specify medium-rare (obviously). Despite this, I still received a well-done steak!

Only some parts near the bones were pink. Perhaps they were using steaks that were too thin, but when paying 70-80k for a steak, I expect it to be at least decent. Taste-wise, it was well-seasoned, which was its saving grace.

The final straw was their specially named tea, which was just some Lipton tea with lemons and perhaps a dye or small amounts of crushed berries to give it color. I asked What kind white fish First in menu ( There was White fish Steak ) and the Employee who is a girl said ‘White fish’ I asked again But she said same as before with annoyed expression . there was only me at the restaurant(Not busy and so silent)

The point is she speaks english well .

Finally ordered beef short rips and I asked other Q as I wonder what is the name of dish in Mongolian . But she still not good expressions and said ‘ Beef short rips ‘ I know in english asked again friendly And she said same and angry voice with bad expressions .

How its weird . I felt not so good RUINED . She was rude behavior as well that When show me the bills She only said ‘This’ unkindly . She needs to learn how to care customers without her...

The local Mongolian dishes at Ayanchin Downtown Restaurant were pretty decent, but the pizza my husband ordered was not good. Unfortunately, the service was poor. The restaurant was empty, yet it was very difficult to get anyone’s attention, and we waited well over 10 minutes before someone took our order despite trying to flag them down.
