I had a wonderful dining experience at Sen. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with a stylish dark theme that created a sense of privacy and calm. The background music was soft and not too loud, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The servers were attentive and polite, always present when needed without being intrusive.
The meal itself was excellent from start to finish. The salad was fresh and colorful, with a mix of lettuce varieties and crispy chips, all brought together by a bright and tangy ginger dressing. The sushi was beautifully prepared — flavorful, with just the right hint of spice and umami. The shrimp was juicy and perfectly seasoned, enhanced by a simple squeeze of lemon.
A standout dish was the fried leaf topped with fresh tuna and fish roe — crunchy, delicate, and full of texture. To complement everything, the dry Asahi draft beer was served ice-cold and refreshing.
I finished every dish feeling satisfied but not overfull — a perfect balance of taste and portion.

Read more5 stars Sen is a great Japanese restaurant that exceeded our expectations. It has a cute vibe with modern furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly overall, though it was a bit odd that the hostess didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in and said hello — or maybe we didn’t hear her? The drinks and food were excellent. We especially recommend the fish soup and the chocolate dessert — both were standouts. Definitely worth a visit! We ordered tomahawk medium cooked. The fatty part was a little bit hard to eat when medium cooked. But I don’t know if there is a way to cook the fat more when the red part is...
Read moreI’m not a big fan of how Sen mutilated the huge open space that used to be occupied by Skywalker into such tight winding corridors and compartmentalized sections but the food was definitely good. Tuna roll was delicate and meaty, the wagyu sliders were tender and delicious, and the steak was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in Mongolia although that’s not really saying much since most steaks here just aren’t noteworthy. If the fat was more evenly spread and the meat had less silver skin and more juiciness, it would be genuinely excellent....
