A Total Tourist Trap and Completely Overrated
It’s the first time I write a negative review in the hope that it will help you to make an informed decision. I recently had the misfortune of dining at this so-called popular restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially during my 20 days in Montenegro.
The troubles began the moment we were seated. Despite being in a tourist-heavy area, the service was unbelievably slow. We waited a painful 20 minutes just for a waiter to acknowledge us and take our order. It was clear that the staff were completely overwhelmed, struggling to keep up with the number of tables they were serving.
After finally placing our order, we waited another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. I had ordered the lamb cutlets, and when they eventually made their way to our table, they were a complete disaster. The lamb was dry, hard, and chewy — quite possibly the worst I've ever tasted. The potatoes that came with it were barely lukewarm and drenched in oil, making them completely unappetizing. After taking a few bites, I couldn’t stomach any more and politely informed the waiter. They offered to replace my dish with a risotto, which was mediocre at best.
When it came time to pay the bill, the ordeal continued. It took another 20 minutes just to get the check, and by then, I was more than ready to leave. To add insult to injury, they charged me for everything, including the inedible lamb cutlets. No offer of a complimentary coffee or any attempt to make up for the terrible experience.
Overall, this restaurant is nothing more than a tourist trap with overrated hype. The poor service and subpar food made it the worst dining experience I've had in Montenegro. I would never return and would certainly advise anyone to steer clear. Save your time, money, and taste buds for a place that actually cares about...
Read moreAwful service... Terrible to say the least. The waiter who clearly was mad and angry the whole time of the service didn't brought any sharing plates for the appetizers and main courses. I went to pay the bill for the table and he charged me for bread bread which wasn't brought through out the 2 courses. He put the bill amount in the POS portable card machine and he charged me 30 Euros more on top of the bill... Rude the whole time while I was handling my credit card cause I didn't wanted to hand my credit card unless he corrected the mistake. Basically he wanted the fines me. On top of that he was like let's go outside and figure this out ( physically).... I called the manager which never came... Only his college who was kind approached to ask what was the problem where he said" they are all nervous and angry these tourists are not nice". I am pretty sure the whole restaurant saw the scene and realized the problem of the matter The waiter came outside again wanting a fight after we left down the street he followed our group. "Manager" who didn't have the proper attire came and told us to not come back ever again. Like in probably the son of the owner or something it's usually like that here. Also he was threatening the he is going to find us and deal with us later. Kinda funny but also matter for the police . Could be the north thing that they don't like the People from central parts... I am from Montenegro I am not a tourist... Bad word travels fast. Also if you ever had unpleasant situation like this call the police 🚓. Avoid this place clearly not consistent at all based on...

The menu is large, the service is very good, the waiters are attentive.
-Chicken soup was good, but not much chicken and quite a small portion. -Forel with vegetables was good, 2 small fish, broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes cold with onions. -Bread was not spared, they brought different kinds. -Chicken salad-a large portion, but originally the composition was not spelled out on the menu. Chickpeas and olives were unnecessary. -Baked potatoes were not really baked. It was more like the potatoes were just made into a stir-fry. -Sausage was good, the fries went with it -not so good. -The mixed sausage plate was weird. They put jerky, weird cream like margarine, potatoes and two slices of cucumber.
In the plate with the fish first I found a hair, the waiter immediately came over and asked if everything was okay. Without any hesitation he immediately took away the plate and changed the dish.
The service is excellent.
The prices are acceptable, lunch/dinner for 2 people was...
