İSTANBUL RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Bar

Our recent experience at the restaurant was highly disappointing and left much to be desired. Three of us dined there and decided to order the Skenderi from the menu, which we anticipated would be a highlight. Unfortunately, the dish was far from enjoyable; the taste was bland and lacked the authentic flavors we expected from a Turkish restaurant.

Adding to our dissatisfaction, there were several issues with the overall dining experience. To begin with, there was no cutlery provided on the table, which we had to request. Additionally, the restrooms were poorly maintained, lacking basic necessities such as toilet paper and tissue paper. These oversights made the experience feel subpar and unwelcoming.

It is worth mentioning that the waitress attending to us was doing her best to accommodate our needs, and we appreciated her efforts. However, despite her kindness and attempts to improve the situation, the poor quality of the food overshadowed everything.

The service was bad. We waited 10 minutes to be served. They didnt ask us what do we want in our tortila so they just put everything they had, my sister is allergic to onions so she needed to remove every piece to eat normal. Then my and my sisters stomach hurted really bad after we ate everything. Very bad food, the meat is old and of poor quality. We ordered doner and when it was brought to us, my wife couldn't eat it because it was from an old cow and it's color was black. She returned the order, that the waiter, even though we said we wouldn't, packed and charged. He did not offer a refund or anything in return.
