La Forchetta — Restaurant in Bar

Artisan food at a bargain price. From the outside this might seem as the average local restaurant and the place doesn’t look “elite” at all but don’t be fooled their meals are on another level. I ordered their chicken in honey sauce with dried tomatoes and couscous and it was one of the most delicious chicken meals I’ve ever tried. The wait time might be longer than usual but it’s obvious that personnel is missing almost everywhere in Montenegro. It’s pity I don’t get to dine here again and try something else as I was only passing through Bar, there were many interesting options...

Food was tasty but the portions were small and not even near to what was advertised on the menu. I had a mixed grilled sea food with vegetables which was supposed to be 450g , but it was 300g at the best case. The steak was also not a 300g. Wine is overpriced ( 3.55Eur in the supermarket 14.00Eur in the restaurant, whilst other places have same wine for 9-10Eur max)as well as food in general. We waited for too long for the food. When we sat they said are we good with 30 minutes waiting for the food, we were fine with that but ended up waiting for one and a half hours and the portions were too small. We weren’t full after eating. The sea ​​bream fillet that I ordered was full of bones. The two portions of a grilled squid were not cooked well and the portion of octopus was like 4 inches in total. It was like they only put an octopus’s toe on the plate. And all that for almost 90 euros. I don’t recommend...
