North — Restaurant in Bar

The restaurant has a nice outside area which seems new. Everything was clean and nice. Food was good, could be better but for the price totally acceptable. Just one note: A little less Teryiaky sauce would be better as it is very overwhelming on the calamari as well as the salmon rolls.

The waiter seemed very disinterested in his work. Taking several smoke breaks ( I counted 3 during our 1.5 hour stay) while guests were waiting for him.. He did not let us taste the wine first, which resulted in an unpleasant situation when we later told him it was not drinkable anymore. The wine was exchanged then without hesitation, thanks again.

In total we had an ok dinner which could have been much better with a more attentive waiter. At the end we actually wanted to order dessert, but after waiting 15 min for the waiter we settled...

I was pleasantly surprised and how good the food was here. Bar is a beach town and like most the food is usually average. But, here just away from the beachfront you will find a warm and inviting local restaurant whose food is fresh, flavorful and served with a smile. The matriarch waited/served me and she had a very warm inviting demeanor and smile. The beer is cold and there is inside/outside seating. I recommend enjoying a meal here I promised you will...
