Forsage Gastro Lounge — Restaurant in Budva

I wanted to test a gastro restaurant in Budva as to change of local food restaurants

Even if i would give 4 stars to local places visited the last days, I think 2 is far enough for Fosage.

I had a tuna tartare and the starter was correct i should confess 2 minutes after as i was just starting the main meal arrived Squids, small and few ones with more decorations and colours in the plate than food itself. Of course it was cold when eating I guest a mistanderstanding in kitchen thinking 2 persons what explains but not justifies the error. Waiter so scared and inexperienced that no action from his side No more action from Mama Boss at Bar.

Including a draft beer and a tinny gin tonic Damage was 30 euros Double i pay in other restaurants

I have no objection to pay double But ... Service to be professional If gastro real gastro and not a pale copy of any new cuisine magazine When having starter and main meal no to leave with impression that i am still hungry

Conclusion 2 stars with regrets to have visited this place and still surprised by excellent marks given on...

We arrived for dinner at 7:45pm just the two of us on. Tuesday evening in August, and we were the only ones sitting inside or outside. By 9, the patio was filling up, and the energy was lively. We enjoyed the truffle risotto as a warm appetizer, and I had the tuna steak in sesame with a delicious sweet potato puree as a bed for some seasonal vegetables. My partner ate a burger, that he said was delicious (came with fries and a mustard sauce). The servers were attentive and kind, welcoming our English and complimenting our Serbian efforts. Great restaurant with sitting options both inside and outside. We were welcomed at the entrance by a very nice and polite waiter (sorry for not remembering his name), we were given enough time to review the menu and make our decision. Food was delicious, only one small thing related to the cooking level of my steak was observed. We called the waiter and he acknowledged the problem, than provided few options for solving that matter. We understand that sometimes things will not be perfect, however at the end it will come down to the way the situation is managed by the staff.
