The beaches and the water is dirty, it is extremely crowded, cigarette butts everywhere, especially in the Slovenska plaza area. The water near water sports area smells of gasoline. It is big disapointment, if you come here for the beach, better go somewhere else. The only nice beach is Mogren, but is so crowded that you can barely find a spot. Amenities like showers, toilets (1eur) are less than basic. The watersport activities are done to close to the swimming cordoned area. The sunbed rental areas are better but to close to eachother, forget relax and privacy and if you are with family it doesn't worth it. The city itself is nice with great caffes and restaurants. It is basically a good spot for nightlife, relax not so much. Traffic and parking is horrible, if you reserve an accommodation make sure you have parking. I don't recommend it for a...

Budva was nice and beautiful, especially the Old Town Budva, which was stunning! 😍 The place that we were amazed by is the Hawaii beach that you have to take a boat for, which is 3€. Hawaii beach was not that crowded and we loved staying there.

However, a couple of things we did not like, that might interest you, are here: ▫️First, the parking hunting lasted for half an hour, everything is full and you'll be lucky if you find it quickly. ▫️Second, if you are among those people who do not like super crowded beaches, then Budva is definitely not a place for you. ▫️Mogren Beach is...

Like a scene out of a 80's country movie with old-fashioned music and wooden benches and chairs cut from the trunks of trees felled in the nearby forest. Nothing wrong with it if this is your kind of scenery but definitely not for a city-family like us. Spend your time in the mountains instead and enjoy Montenegro as it was meant to be enjoyed rather than sipping on a juice-box while listening to Slavic crooners from the 80's played on an old stereo. The beach is pebble beach and not very...

I wouldn't describe the beach as particularly beautiful, the sand is quite coarse and it gets very busy. However there are plenty of facilities along the Riviera, restaurants, showers, and a variety of private zones with sun loungers ranging in comfort and price from €15 to a staggering €40. But the most expensive ones are like comfy beds with thick back adjustable mattresses. There are several public (free) zones, easy to identify because people bring their own beach mats and parasols.
