So... Me and my boyfriend went into the restaurant. He needed to go to the bathroom, so when we sat and got the menu I told the waiter/host that we will signal him when we're ready, in about 10 minutes or so. No more than 2 minutes later, the waiter came and asked if I'm ready. I politely told him that I'm waiting for my boyfriend. Like 2-3 minutes later, with my boyfriend still absent, the waiter approached again and I told him more clearly that I am waiting for my bf. No sooner had my boyfriend returned (5-7 minutes at most after we entered the restaurant) the waiter approached us AGAIN and was very persistent about us ordering (my bf hadn't opened the menu yet). I've noticed someone else here writing about the waiter/host being persistent, so I'm sure it is not overexaggerating or anything like this. Then, when it came to reading the menu, I wanted to order something from the column "Cooked Meals". The waiter almost started shouting "NO NO NO ORDER NO". I did not know what was happening until I saw the russian translation for it on another menu (I can read it fortunetaly) and it was - in translation - "Meal of The Day". So yeah, the menu was very much wrongly translated and I got treated very bad about it. Some other mishaps that happened here were for example when I asked the waiter if in the meal there are any potatoes / fried, he told no so we ordered extra and then the plates showed up with meal plates clearly consisting of fries / potatoes and our extra ones. At the end, we were paying by card and the waiter really wanted to persuade us on leaving a tip (not leaving any for a treatemnt like that lol). On the bright side, the food was very good and fairly priced, so the rating is this low only because of the attitude of the...
Read moreI am not used to put any negative opinions so it is one of the few I have published. We were there three times. The first day was really perfect, mainly the fish and chicken soups. We liked the service and the home wine they had although it was the young. The next time we arrived a little bit late and the quality of the food was normal but we thought it was our fault based on the late hour we arrived. And yesterday, the experience was really terrible. I wanted to have some daily menu. I took the beans for the second dish. The waitress who was really really enjoying and impolite gave me gulas and he literally tried to force me to eat this. I said that I wanted beans again, he said that they hadn’t so I decided not to eat there. Finally, after 5 minutes the beans plate appeared. He stopped using English at all and trying to explain me that there is no difference between beans and gulas. I finished my dinner and wanted to pay by credit card. He said that I couldn’t (we knew that we could as we paid like that two times). So i said that I had no money. He said me he didn’t care that it was my problem. So I said that in this case I was not going to pay. Suddenly he appeared with the credit cart machine and I paid as I asked at the begging. I know that Budva has a lot of tourists but stop treating us as...
