Garden Cafe — Restaurant in Budva

This was a very nice restaurant with cheap prices and big portions, which surprised us! The burgers were really good and the craft beer is worth trying and was very tasty! Also, when we have ordered the sandwich (or should I say sandwiches) and a Greek salad - the portion size was unexpected, because we were expecting something small, but in fact it was just perfect before our evening flight!

There are some things that can be improved from time to time - some times the waiters are super quick, but sometimes they are a bit slow, so that really depends on the waiter, but overall, don't stress about that, as the service is really good.

Also, this restaurant would be a top notch restaurant with even more great coffee, because I have tasted the coffee, it was nice, but it could be even better with some more specialty coffee beans and maybe experimenting with reducing the bitterness, but overall, it was a pleasant coffee and a very good...

We had visited this place twice before and were satisfied enough to come back. However, this recent experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

We clearly told the staff we wanted to sit in the garden and have a meal. A waiter showed us to a table that had no "reserved" sign—something we made sure to check ourselves before sitting down. Despite this, just a few minutes later, a new customer came and tried to claim the table. Shockingly, the waiter who had seated us then asked us to move, saying it was a mistake.

This kind of disorganization and treatment is completely unprofessional. It was not our mistake, and yet we were made to feel as if we were in the wrong. As tourists, we expect a minimum level of respect and courtesy—especially at a place we had previously trusted and recommended. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning, and we would strongly reconsider recommending...

My experience of this place was regular and almost always consistently positive. I'm not in a position to comment much on the food but I can talk about the beer and coffee. I have no complaints regarding the latter; I have only good things to say about the former. There are options for the general consumer of beer and also some craft selection on draft; I always went for the craft myself and was never disappointed. There are screens for sport, which are good enough for those who want to watch it but wouldn't be intrusive for those who don't so everyone kind of wins ("kind of" only because there's no commentary for the football but you're lucky if you get it in the Balkans generally speaking).
