This is a Turkish restaurant overlooking the sea front on the main stretch of road leading to the Marina. The restaurant has a wide range of Turkish and Moroccan dishes and deserts on the menu. We sat down at the table and saw that the place looks quite empty for a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a waitress that didn't smile much. We ordered the Beef Tajine and Cheese spaghetti. The beef tajine was very bland and did not fit the criteria to be called a tajine. A Moroccan Beef tajine is not served with boiled vegetables, it is served with sweet and savoury caramelised onions and prunes. The Beef was cooked well but was very oily and tasted of nothing. We asked the waitress why they didn't serve this dish with onions and prunes and she said they don't serve it like this. The Cheese spaghetti was also bland with not much flavour. The humus only came out after we reminded her and it was drenched in olive oil which should have been left out considering that the tajine was oily aswell. They didn't have any zero sugar drinks which was not great as some people may not take sugar. The staff don't smile and they just don't seem bothered. The toilet facilities were clean and tidy. I haven't tried the other dishes but if you are planning on coming here don't waste your money on the Beef tajine. The moral of the review is don't go to a Turkish restaurant for a Moroccan dish lol. The 2 stars is for the clean...

✅️Firstly, the service was outstanding. ✅️Staff were really friendly, polite and welcoming, so that was great.
❌️However, the food was inedible due to 🪰 being harassed by beggars, which to be clear is not the fault of the owners, but having a hold on it is advisable. ❌️Unfortunately, the food lacked flavour. ❌️The lahmacun (excuse the spelling as I may be wrong) was pretty okay but would be great with a kick - chilli flakes, chilli powder, pepper paste - we did ask for spice but didn't get it. ❌️The adana kebab was disappointing, and I was really looking forward to it. The kebab was underseasoned and really dry. It needed a wedge of lemon, spices, and basting throughout the cooking process. ❌️Food tastes strongly of BBQ gas. It's not the authentic grill experience we were hoping for. ❌️The rice was underwhelming - we expected flavoured bulgur ❌️The salad was not fresh at all. The cucumber and tomatoes were mushy. I was expecting crunch and zesty flavours. ❌️The flatbread at the bottom of the dish was not flavoursome and juicy either, which you would expect with well basted meat. ❌️There was no standard side sauce or condiment either like esme or cacik. It wasn't like Turkish food from authentic Turkish outlets in the UK, I guess (and I don't mean amateurs, I mean actual Turks!).

Read moreI recently visited Costa Bella, a Turkish restaurant in Agadir, and I was pleasantly surprised by a few things. First of all, the owners and managers are Turkish, which set my expectations high for the authenticity of the food and its flavors. The employees were very friendly, and the location is fantastic, right on the Corniche by the beach.
I arrived feeling a bit hungry, so I ordered a variety of dishes. I started with a mixed mezze platter, which included classic Turkish starters like Baba Ghanoush, hummus, falafel, and other traditional appetizers. For the main course, I opted for the Adana Kebab, which had a very authentic taste—true to Turkish cuisine.
Due to my work, I travel frequently across the Middle East, and I've spent over 18 months in Turkey, so I have a good sense of what to expect from Turkish food. I must say, the flavors at Costa Bella were very impressive and genuinely Turkish.
For dessert, I had baklava with ice cream, which was also delicious. Overall, my experience at Costa Bella was excellent—the food was great, and the staff was welcoming. While I noticed some reviews mentioning that people felt unwell after visiting, my personal experience was entirely positive, and I will very likely return to...
