I recently stayed at Hôtel Petite Suède for a few nights while my house was being renovated, and it turned out to be the perfect place for a short stay. The hotel is conveniently located with parking available right in front, and the rooms are clean and very reasonably priced. I paid just 250 Dirhams for a private room with a bathroom, which is a great deal.
The reception staff and the manager were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast, served on the terrace, was a pleasant surprise, offering a nice view of the busy avenue below. Despite being in a bustling area, the double-glazed doors and windows did a good job of keeping the noise out.
However, if you are very sensitive to noise, you might want to ask for a room in the interior of the hotel rather than one with windows facing the outside, as there can be some noise from the road and the discotheque across the street. In my case, I use earplugs, so I was able to sleep perfectly. So, either you can sleep through the noise, use earplugs, or kindly ask for a room on the inside.
The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and cafés, and it’s not far from the beach and Corniche. For anyone looking for a budget-friendly hotel in the city center, this is definitely one of the best options. Well-placed and well-priced, it’s a great choice for a stay in the heart...
Read moreLa Petite Suede was our home for one night and we were lucky to get the last available room as we were really tired after a long bus ride to Agadir and did not feel like searching any further.||The receptionist (we think he is the owner as well, or at least he works there almost every day) was the highlight of our stay. ||||It was my boyfriends birthday the next day and I asked him if he could secretly organise a birthday cake for us to celebrate a little at 12pm. He did not hesitate to help out and we had an awesome time on the roof terrace, celebrating the boy's birthday with a cake and a wine. The guy who organised the cake even came to join in for a piece of cake and wished happy birthday and told us a few stories. It was a great experience and we really appreciated the kindness.||The room we stayed in was very basic. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was not the greatest room but I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay and we spend most of our time at the roof terrace which was nice and cool after a hot day in Agadir.||The location is great, easy to find and central.||Although the room we had was not the greatest, I would definitely recommend this place because of the friendly staff. (And the rooms are clean and have...
Read moreI stayed here for 3 nights and must say that you get a lot for the money. The furnitures in the rooms are basic, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were kind of big for the price and there was a double bed plus a table with 2 chairs in the room. I stayed in a room with a balcony - where there we also a table and 2 chairs. Due to the room facing a street - and there being a night club just across the street it was a bit noisey. This I was also told by the receptionist when asked for a room with a balcony.||||The breakfast is included and is enough to get your day started. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace. ||||The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I had to leave the receptionist helped me get a taxi, we stood on the street for a while and no taxi showed up. The receptionist told me not to worry cause he would take me to the bus station in his own car if no taxi showed up in time. ||||The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and there are several ATM around the corner. ||||The wifi in the room worked all the time. There was not always hot water in the shower though.||||I would stay here again and choose a room...
