The first time I went with some friends, we ended up leaving on the spot because the waitress demanded we order food if we wanted to have drinks. We had just had lunch and we weren't hungry so we decided to leave and go to another bar. I didn't leave a review at the time because we didn't stay long enough to try anything. The second time however was a full on bad experience.
Our friend is a DJ and we wanted to be supportive of his new gig, so we booked a few tables for all the friends involved. It started out fine, we ordered some tapas that no one touched, we were there mainly for the drinks.
Later on, the staff kept pestering us about not filming the DJ because they're not allowed to have a DJ during the lockdown. We understood and complied. However, one of the security guys (with a tattoo on his upper arm) approached my friend and yelled at him for taking a video of me. The DJ was never in shot. When we tried to explain and show him the footage, it fell on deaf ears. He dismissed us in a very rude manner.
The whole thing ruined it for us. The staff are unprofessional and money-hungry, the food is bland, the place is too dark and cramped... Not worth it !!
Word of advice to the owner : improve your customer service. Start by learning to accept the bad reviews you are getting, and respond politely. It's outrageously disrespectful to dismiss people's experiences, insulting them, and calling them fake. You...
Read moreFirst time checked it out. Not too shabby. A bit of a dark setting and theme. Definitely a black lives matter setting. The cocktail that I ordered was perfect. The service was not bad, but when (she the server) found out that I was there only to test it out, and that I wasn't ordering anything else, she kicked me out by saying "aren't you leaving because this table is reserved." So that ruined the experience. (I think in Africa, Morocco, the only people that come in these restaurants are locals that want to party and spend a lot of money to show off. Not for tourists or visitors that are looking to have a drink or two and leave.) The servers look money hungry, because they're doing their job properly. But that's expected of you and that's normal. doing a job above and beyond what's expected is worth tipping. And other regular restaurants here in rabat have terrible service, so they think just because they're in a fancier restaurant they expect people to tip them and blow their money when in fact what they're doing is what is expected and the norm. They don't get that over here. So for all American people, I wouldn't recommend this place. The menu items are a bit overpriced and the vibe is dead and customers go around hugging each other as if you were in a fraternity...
Read moreNever going there. I called on Friday evening for a reservation to two people for Saturday at 6, the girl on the phone confirmed that it is noted. We arrive my friend and I on Saturday at 6:15, to the rudest behavior ever from the guys on the door. They insisted that there is no reservation with my name while I still have the call with their phone number on my recent calls. I asked him to call the girl with whom I was on the phone, he said he doesn't know her whilst he said before that he asked her and she told him we have no reservation. I then left and I couldn't find anywhere wherr to go with my friend because we thought we already have our reservation scheduled me and her. Honestly, the staff are really unprofessional and I am never going back again. Worst experience ever....
