Recent update: Management reached out after I posted a honest review. They apologized repeatedly and asked us to come back for another experience. The owner of the restaurant reached out to me personally. We became acquainted, and I learned how driven, smart, kind, professional and dedicated this woman truly is. She showed her appreciation for my feedback, and listened to my concerns. And we shared similar thoughts and had great conversations. Anyways we reserved a private room for Father’s Day and order tons of food this time. Food came out quickly as soon as we arrived. All went well. The highlight of the dine in experience was when the owner surprised us with a father’s day cake for my husband. Which was such a lovely gesture. At check out as we were paying; the manager gave us (3) 100MAD dine in vouchers that we can use for our next visit. To receive them you have to spend over a certain amount. We spent a bit over 2500MAD. After careful consideration, a revised review is well deserved. Thank you Oriental Hotel for providing great hospitality ; making us feel welcome, comfortable, and valued, leading to an experience that most definitely encourages us to return and recommend your business to others.

Inexperienced management. I made a reservation via WeChat early that day. Arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday night party of 2. Was told there was some problem with power outages in the kitchen, that someone was working on it quickly. that the chef will be cooking very slowly in the dark for a while…. That it would be a long wait. We were extremely understanding and agreed to the long wait, and proceed with ordering. We have big appetite and wanted to try new food so We ordered around 10 dishes, variety of things veggies, seafood, meat etc. After waiting over an hour we got our first dish. we began eating and was pleased to say food was very tasty. The restaurant seemed very busy. They had large groups showing up. And we could see other customers ordering around us. And you can sense the panic and tense atmosphere. Anyways around the time of our 5th dish the manager comes up to us and apologizes. He told us that they can not prepare rest of the dishes we ordered . Reason being the staff didn’t know how to prepare the food and cut the veggies properly???? We were extremely puzzled because as he was telling us this we saw others tables getting their food. We asked if they could just leave off the one dish that was reasonably complicated with lots of ingredient cutting and just prepare the rest which were all easier dishes with singular ingredients like sweet & sour chicken, stir fry mushrooms or even hot and sour soup. I speak from experience because I am full Chinese. Grew up in the restaurant industry as my entire family have owned many chinese restaurants for decades. Management kept looking at us with regret and saying no so sorry they can not prepare it. I felt fooled by the reason they gave us. I felt like he was trying to get rid of us so they can cook for their larger parties. And that’s a confident assumption after sitting around observing waiting for the rest of the dishes to come out and it never did. We asked for further explanation but management could not give us a straight answer to why they can not prepare rest of our food. We expressed that it was my birthday we came here in hopes of having a nice time and enjoying some nice food… manager was embarrassed and gave us a plate of watermelon. I had an amazing experience at this hotel from the moment I arrived. Everyone was incredibly friendly and even helped me carry my luggage to my room. The reception staff were well-spoken and provided all the necessary details about my stay.The room was spotless, spacious (especially for the price I got on Trip.com), and aesthetically pleasing. I appreciated the automated lighting and loved the small balcony, which could be opened for fresh air.Breakfast was superb, offering a variety of options beyond the usual fare. In addition to Moroccan dishes and French pastries, there was a selection of well-seasoned Chinese and other Asian foods, which added a unique touch.The service and overall quality of the hotel exceeded my expectations. I also want to commend the hardworking and kind Filipino staff I met during my stay—they spoke highly of the hotel and contributed to the excellent experience.This hotel truly deserves more recognition for its outstanding service...

Staying at Oriental Hôtel was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into China. the atmosphere, the decor, and the overall ambiance truly capture the essence of Chinese culture. It was a unique and refreshing experience right in the heart of Casablanca.

Beyond the beautiful setting, what made my stay even more special was the outstanding hospitality of the manager, YASSER. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made me feel genuinely welcome. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, making my stay comfortable and memorable.
