Salmon Sushi — Restaurant in arrondissement de Sidi Belyout مقاطعة سيدي بليوط

Only giving three starts because the food was good, but the service was exceptionally bad unfortunately.

Was never acknowledged by the waiter (Would have understood if it was busier) but luckily had the menu on the table already. When I got my food I still had to ask for something to drink and for napkins. Also I specifically went to an Asian restaurant to avoid cheese and searched for only items on the menu without cheese because I have an allergy to dairy and I’m also taking medication at the moment that doesn’t allow me to have dairy products. So when I got my first dish it had cheese. I told the waiter that I ordered this because it didn’t have cheese and that I have an allergy so he grabbed the menu to double check, and then after taking my food back had me follow him to the kitchen to explain this again to the chef! It all felt very insulting, and for the waiter to not speak again after that until I handed a tip....ridiculous. Would have been better off serving myself.

Hate leaving long rants, but I hope my experience was only because the server. The host was nice, and like I said the food was good. But I would never be hungry enough again to go there and pay to be...

On our last day of travel, we decided to break away from Moroccan cuisine and try some Japanese food, drawn in by the glowing reviews on Google. While the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a pleasant atmosphere, our dining experience left much to be desired.

The staff were friendly and attentive, which was a positive aspect. However, the food we ordered didn't quite meet our expectations. We tried a soup, two types of sushi, a mixed skewer platter, and a drink. Unfortunately, the soup had an unusual mix of flavors that didn’t quite work for us, and the eel sushi had a mushy texture that was off-putting.

The skewers and drink were decent but nothing special—I've never encountered skewers served with sushi rice that had a sour taste. Overall, the meal was just average, and I can't help but wonder if we simply made the wrong choices from the menu.

Stepping into this sushi restaurant Salmon Sushi was an absolute delight! The attention to detail and the quality of sushi we experienced were second to none. A special shout-out to the manager, Abdessamad, whose passion and dedication to delivering an authentic sushi experience is evident in every aspect of the restaurant. The commis, Othmane, also deserves recognition for his impeccable service and skillful preparation that added to the overall exquisite dining experience.
