La Fuga Premium restaurant and café is located on Rue Ibn Zaidoun, near Iberia, and close to L'Italienne Boulangerie in Tangier, Morocco.
La Fuga Premium has a modern décor and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is sophisticated and has beautiful upholstered seats and a few leather sofas. La Fuga Premium is usually heated in the winter and thus is a rare haven of warmth in Tangier. It is often, but not always, air-conditioned during the warmer summer months.
There is a large outside covered terrace, surrounded by small palms, that is popular in the late afternoon until the evening. The terrace has seven flat-screen televisions with barely audible volume or that are muted completely. During cooler winter months, this terrace is often heated with tall Parisian-style gas flame heaters.
No smoking is allowed inside. No alcoholic beverages are served, but drinks such as mineral waters, Coca-Cola and other sodas, smoothies, milkshakes, and freshly-squeezed fruit juices are available, in addition to coffee served in a cup with saucer, or teas. The deserts, cakes, tarts, and homemade ice creams are all delicious.
I go to La Fuga Premium regularly. It has delicious, well-prepared and presented foods for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I like the Indian Burger with French fries, and another favorite item is Salade La Fuga, with avocado, orange slices, nuts, and crispy lettuce.
The table service by the polite and efficient waiters is usually, but not always, prompt. In my view, La Fuga Premium is one of the best affordable restaurants in Tangier that you, your family and friends will enjoy.

Read moreI'm afraid my experience here tonight was a complete disappointment. I asked for it to-go and ordered a carbonara which is normally made using chicken or turkey bacon, and its own sauce. Instead I got smoked turkey salami and cooking cream. The taste was greasy, and I felt very nauseous so the whole thing went straight in the bin. The phone call I made was answered with an attitude of complete disrespect and I was told to "just eat it, nothing will happen to you". It's safe to say that they've lost a very loyal, frequent, customer. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Thank you for your reply, this is not my first visit to your establishment, as I have had breakfast and lunch plenty of times there. Not once have I ever had any issues and have suggested La Fuga to many of my family and friends on their visits to Morocco. Unfortunately this certain issue was not answered in the way mentioned as I was told "that's how you make it" and no offer of redoing it the way it's meant to be made, was suggested. If that was the case I would have happily taken...
Read moreI had a half-hour break at this café and ordered a coffee. The coffee was well-made, and I enjoyed it. However, I didn't appreciate having to insist on sitting at a table on the balcony because I needed some fresh air. The waiter tried to push me to sit inside, which was filled with food smells, and I had to be firm to get the seat I wanted.
All of this happened just because someone was taking pictures for promotional purposes. They seemed more concerned about impressing potential customers than respecting the preferences of an actual customer.
I believe a client shouldn't have to repeat themselves. You don’t need to ring a bell twice to be heard! Also, stop judging customers by their clothes—it’s disrespectful and unprofessional. That kind of behavior...
