Hotel Hollanda — Hotel in arrondissement de Tanger-Medina طنجة المدينة

Great for the price (100dh private room/night). I stayed 5 nights. The bed and pillow were hard and need replacement in my opinion, but they were good enough. The sheets didn't seem clean and had some holes in them too, but you can't expect a lot for the price paid and they do keep you warm. During the day it's noisy, but usually at night it's nice and calm. During my stay i only had one sleepless night because of outside noises. There are no insect screens, so you can expect some mosquitoes in your room if you prefer fresh air :) The bathroom door in my hallway did not close fully and couldn't be locked, but i experienced no problems with that. The shared facilities were cleaned every day. Unfortunately there was no wifi in the room. Not all of the stair case has lighting, so at night you should have your phone ready for using the torch. People working in the building, both reception and cleaning staff, are kind. The location is also good as it's close to the big mosque where you can take many buses or taxis when you want to move around. there also always security guards in the street so it seems a safe area too. All in all i am happy with what i got at the price paid and i would recommend staying here if you are looking for something...

Right off the ferry was approaching by a fellow who claimed to be working for tourist office. We wanted to stay at melting pot (awesome place) guy said it was full (lie). Anyways we believed the guy said Morocco was dangerous at night (lie). So he led us to this hotel. Guy at hotel was nice though he wanted passports after we paid 30euros for two rooms. In the end we didnt want to show him our passports being sketched. Essentially dont trust people approaching you outside port. We walked from this place to melting pot after communicating with a friend who was at melting pot he said that wasn't normal. The hotel guy gave us a refund though. Which was verry chill. من أحقر و أبخس الأماكن التى يمكن للزائر الاقامة بها. نزل هولاندا "pension" لا يوجد به ادنى وسائل الراحة. إضافة الى سوء المعاملة من طرف العمال و النساء منهم على وجه الخصوص..وعلى سبيل المثال تم طرد أحد الزبناء منه في ساعة متأخرة من الليل لمجرد طلبه مصباح للانارة حيث الغرفة لا تتوفر عليه..وبناءا على هذا سأوجه شكاية الى الجهات المختصة في حق الموظفة التي قامت بهذا الفعل اللا إنساني في حق الزبون.أليس الزبون دائما على الحق...
