Disappointing experience!
Over expensive: Prices are not clearly displayed, one loaf of bread and some avocado for 80 dhs is theft (you can get 3kg of avocado and baguettes of bread for that price, that’s not a margin, that’s straight up a scam).
Speaking of which, they intentionally don’t leave the food menu on the rooftop, so if you don’t get their brunch “deal” they’ll offer to prepare something else, but intentionally don’t disclose the prices. Even when you finally get your hands on the menu, it is filled with stickers at the emplacement of prices. They probably changed their prices on a whim when you ask for the menu.
The waiters were adorable, but there was clearly no organization, they had to run to the owner for every issue or question about the menu or prices.
They don’t tell you that they will charge you 5 dhs for service on the rooftop, and I highly doubt this fee goes to the waiters’ pockets well they’re are the ones going up and down the stairs in the 3 floors !
Sure the rooftop and “live DJ” were “nice”, but a YouTube playlist could have done the job much better.
It certainly wasn’t anything unique, there are much better rooftops with actual live musicians, and brunches/lunches/ diners available for less than half the price.
Don’t get fooled by the pretty decorations, or the smiling “friendly” owner. Just one of the many stores and coffees owned by foreigners that don’t cater to the local population, post-colonialism exploitation.
A shame! At this rate, one day we Moroccans will need a Visa to enter the medina…
Doesn’t even desserve a star but the STAFF really deserves more !...

BUT the ambiance is calm, quiet and traditional, with a modern twist. Wi-Fi is strong, and there are a few tables with power outlets to charge your devices. I found the service to be friendly and fast. Maybe because I opened with a Muslim greeting, and a smile (!). It’s true that very nearby there are cafés that charge less, with Wi-Fi. But I still return to this haven of tranquility whenever the hustle and bustle of the medina gets a bit much. I don’t eat here, so I can’t speak to the quality of the food. If supporting a female collective matters to you, this is one. A rarity in a Muslim country (and in Europe, for...
Read moreTrendy European style café, with European style prices. I had a nut and honey pancake which was thick, stodgy, dry and tasteless. The coffees were fine. The afternoon we visited, it was like being in a noisy crèche. We were in the back room which was small, dark and claustrophobic. It seems like a gathering place for friends with babies, buggies and young children. A nightmare if you're looking for a relaxing pit stop. We couldn't flee fast enough. Maybe not suitable for quieter older people or perhaps we just happened...
