Nice little cafe on the Taraa square. Nothing fancy, but friendly staff and a vast selection on the menu. I was famished, so had a fish pastilla and vegetable tajine. The pastilla was really good, resembled a giant triangle-shaped springroll tastewise, but nonetheless very tasty. I was more impressed with my tajine: a giant selection of different vegetables with raisons, steaming in a fragrant thick broth. A small side of couscous accompanied my tajine. It was really tasty and the vegetables were supertender. Be sure to leave it for a couple of minutes, as its served steaming hot. I had a fresh lemonjuice with my meal and some still water. Lovely quiet little square. Lots of cats, but they don’t pester you. Breakfast is the best value. English and French spoken by the very friendly waitresses. No card payments, but they do have fairly stable wifi. My favourite spot for breakfast. You get Moroccan bread, three slices of white toast. Freshly squeezed Orange juice. Delicious home made yogurt with honey. And a range of stuff to put on your bread (nice butter, almond honey paste, strawberry jam and very nice apricot conserve which is both sweet and tart) plus a hot drink of your choosing.
