Jungle Fès — Restaurant in Fez

Horrible experience at their rooftop bar. Charged us  $170 for a bottle listed for $28, and wouldn't make any real accommodation (removing apps from the bill etc) for their menu and server's mistake, including their manager who said "I will call the police if you don't pay the bill,  they will take your passport and the rest of your trip will not go well." 😵 After half an hour of trying to reason with them, offering to pay the difference,  the server and bartenders ended up literally shouting,  "you're wasting my time!" We've visited more upscale places and not been scammed this way. Insanity.  Insanity. Insanity.  Please avoid this establishment if you don't wish to be taken advantage of and mistreated as a tourist. On top of which if you are going for the view, as we were,  it is mediocre. I wish I could give less than one star. Very disappointed, this was my favorite place until last night. I took my mom and sister to this place for dinner, and when we got there, all the tables were taken except 2 tables. I did ask if I could get the table that is closer to the city view. One of the servers said no, this table is made with 2 chairs for 2 people only, and he can not add the 3rd chair. This is not true. I have been a customer of this place for a while, and I did see them adding the 3rd chair to those tables so many times. However, a few minutes later, another server brought the 3rd chair to that table for another customer. This situation really made me feel insulted. Terrible...

Honestly, Hotel Sahrai is stunning. The rooftop is the highlight—such a beautiful view of Fès, especially at sunset. The Jungle Bar has such a nice vibe, perfect for drinks or just relaxing. I also loved the food—everything I tried was delicious, especially at Amaraz. The mix of Moroccan and modern design throughout the hotel is just gorgeous.
