I just stayed in this hotel for one night. We stayed on the fifth floor. There was a club on the sixth floor. The disco music was so strong that the floor was shaking continuously. It lasted until 12:30 in the morning! We asked them at 10:50 when it would end, and they lied and said it would end in 10 minutes! These 10 minutes lasted for half an hour! There was an inexplicable noise in my room for no reason. I didn't know if it was the sound of water or wind. I couldn't even find the source of the sound. The sound was very loud, which seriously affected my sleep quality! Later, after dawn, I carefully searched and found that it was the sound of the toilet water pipe. After closing the water inlet of the toilet water pipe, it was quiet. What kind of decoration quality is this? ! ! What's more outrageous is that my daughter wanted to take medicine and asked the front desk for a cup of hot water. The front desk asked me to ask the restaurant, and the restaurant actually asked me to pay! 25 dirhams for a cup of hot water! I have traveled to more than a dozen countries, and this is the first time I have encountered hot water, and it is hot water for taking medicine, and it also needs to be charged! It's too ridiculous! Then we complained to the front desk, and they brought us a little warm water, which was not even enough to dissolve the cold medicine. But I was too lazy to compare with them, so I gave the half-dissolved medicine to my daughter... The next day, breakfast time , my husband saw that the tables near the door in the restaurant were dirty and had not been cleaned, so he asked a male waiter if he could sit at the back by the window. The male waiter said yes, so my husband went to sit. As soon as he sat down, a female waiter came over and said that my husband could not be there and had to sit in the dirty place near the door. My husband asked why, but she did not answer. My husband refused to move and went to get food. When he came back, he found that his plate was gone! What kind of operation is this? ! ! My husband found that all the people sitting there were all white people, and he was not white, and then he was forced to move! My husband felt that he was deeply discriminated against... After a series of operations, there were too many bad things. This hotel has been...
Read moreWhere do I start? ||We arrived here for a few nights after doing a three day trip from marrakech on a mini bus, we wanted a little bit of comfort after staying in tents and spending so much time in a van. While we knew this wasn't a 5 star hotel, we weren't expecting this. ||We were checked into a room which was already being occupied. I'm not kidding, I walked into someone else's room with all their bags on the side boards and on the bed. I couldn't believe it. How their computer systems let them allocate us a room which is already being used is baffling enough.||When we went down to tell them, they weren't fazed by this in the slightest! No apology and little care! ||We later asked for a map of the city so we could explore, but they don't have these. You have to buy one from the hotel shop. - even the Riads we have stayed in have given us a free map, so why a huge hotel doesn't have this is beyond me.||They arranged us a tour guide for the medina and quoted us 150 dirham. But when we went to pay him at the end of the tour he asked for 250. We asked the hotel why he wanted a different amount and they (eventually) told us it's because it's the price for 2 people, although they never mentioned this before and they knew there was two of us! ||The room:||Basic, lacking In Character, dated. No effort made to make it feel Moroccan - I could be anywhere! ||The gardens are pretty but nothing good to say about anything else! I wish we'd opted for a riad instead of trying to play it safe and stay in a hotel. It probably would have been more comfortable! ||As for Fez in general, I wouldn't recommend this city to anyone. It's dirty, and rough, and we wish we'd gone back to marrakech for the last few days...
