I expected more of this. The interior is great, nice and modern. The live music was nice.
Until: the server came to our table, telling us that 3 items on the menu were unavailable, which meant half of our table had to rethink their diner choice. When we got our food the server came to tell a fourth item was unavailable as well, which meant one girl out our table had to wait for another 15 minutes until her food arrived.
The food was good, but the portion size was quite small.
When we finished, our plates were dragged of, while the girl who was starting diner later due to the mistakes of Zagora was stil eating. After that the staff started bugging us if we wanted to order dessert (no thank you, someone is still eating, you rude ...)
The live music used to be nice, but suddenly a projector screen was activated which meant the band had a nice background of a football match.
After diner, someone at our table wanted to order a cocktail. The cocktail was fantastic, but waiting for the cocktail menu for 10 minutes, and then waiting for the cocktail for another 15 minutes was definitely not a great experience.
Even paying for our meal took ages.

Read moreWe had an amazing night at Restaurant Zagora in Fes! The ambiance was calm, cool, and peaceful — the perfect setting to unwind with friends. The cocktails were delicious and creative, setting the tone for a great evening.
I started with the Carpaccio de bœuf, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, I had the grilled Atlantic salmon (saumon d’Atlantique) served with seasonal vegetables and hollandaise — it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our visit, and the live band added an extra layer of fun — performing modern hits with a Moroccan twist that kept the energy just right.

Read moreOrdered the starter of beef carpaccio, was okay - I asked specifically for no capers though and you guessed it - the dish had capers all over it. Anyway, gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the main of duck. Was sitting there waiting for an hour and the food still hadn’t come. I asked 2 waiters on separate occasions where my food was and they didn’t answer but simply ran off to the kitchen. Then they just presented me with the bill. I asked where my food was? They didn’t say anything and so I just paid the bill and left. Music was awful and too loud! 95% of the audience is international and don’t want to hear badly sung songs from the US or UK - show us some traditional Moroccan music for crying out loud! Anyway, bad experience with terrible service. Would...
