Warning to female tourists! We (2 x sisters in our 20s) went because it came up as recommended for vegetarians and we like Lebanese food. However upon entering we felt immediately uncomfortable and judged by the seemingly male only (local) clientele. The staff appeared to be laughing at us and the female server who we approached was rude at first and so we ordered a drink and left quickly after without ordering food. Maybe it is just a local place where tourists are not wanted but posting just in case anyone else goes looking for vegetarian food and gets themselves in the same...

We chose it because it was on happycow, but there was not one no-meat option amongst main dishes :( however metabal was excellent - fresh and smokey taste with nice veggies. Also foul (fève beans) was very good. The prices are high, we were the only guests. And opening hours...

Not a place for female tourists. It's a smoker's bar with cheap beer, frequented by drunk men who often harass women. One beer...
