I came to this place many times and I loved it. Unfortunately, I had an experience that I never had and is gonna make me not to come anymore. We booked for 3 people, we came a little late and they accept us (that we really appreciate it), I sit on one table after being asked about if we wanted shisha, as my friends were not with me, I told her no. After that when my friends come they wanted and we asked for move tables. They moved us to the “VIP” due to seem that they were full, when we wanted to order our dinner (NB. We were going to take shisha, drinks and dinner) the waiter (let me say as well that he was professional doing his work) told us that we were oblied to take 3 tapas and 3 dishes because we were in VIP, I talked personally with the girl of the accueil (so kind, let me say as well) because we were not inform of the “conditions” for being in a VIP table (we didn’t ask for it) and she told me its okey you can take 2 and 2, we went to order and the waiter again told us that he couldnt accept the order. Lastly, I went to the the girl, and I told her this is not ok/professional, first of all you move me of table without telling me which conditions I have to follow, and as well (I work as costumer experience and I have long experience in bartender and manager bartending) I kept moving and talking for the hour that I should have already spent it on eat and enjoy. Finally we left without order something, honestly, how they say “c’est dommage”, nice place, nice staff, but let me think is a problem of communication or management. (Seems that is the new “politic” of Stah, not informed in the...
Read moreExcellent meal with amazing service at this restaurant/lounge. Monclef was great and made sure that everything was in order and to our requirements. He was very friendly and made sure to make our small children feel welcome by joking around with them. The food is tapas style and Mexican, but the plates are not really small and 1 plate is sufficient for 1 person. But it was a good experience ordering a bunch of stuff and trying a little of everything. The food was good, considering how far from Mexico we were and the flavors were definitely Mexican. The cocktails were not as sharp as the food, but considering that this is an Arabic country, I didn't expect them to be experts at crafting cocktails. Still the spicy margarita and the Mexican margarita with kiwi were not the normal cocktails you find in Europe or the US. The place operates more like a lounge and probably has a decent night time entertainment, but we had dinner fairly early and sitting out in the terrace was nice. If you're in the area and crave a change from the Moroccan food, Stah Marrakesh is...
Read moreLong story short. The atmosphere is good, the food and the service are alright, given that the place is always crowded and that the staff is low compared to the number of clients.. But what marked me the most tho, is the disrespect, the meanness and unprofessionalism shown by the Hostess “RAJA”. We arrived 20 minutes late, knowing that we’ve informed them on the phone before arriving and that they clearly said that there wasn’t gonna be any problem settling down.. Arrived to Stah, one of the hostesses tried to help us get our “booked” table, but then the famous RAJA, came in and talked to the other kind hostess to not give us our table! And it doesn’t stop here.. I went to the ladies room and then she came and purposely washed her hands to throw water then a tissue where I was standing and wanted to push my little cousin until I came in the way and didn’t allow it to happen! I’ve never witnessed in my life such horrific treatment and, wanting to lose clients instead of winning them!? Hah, now...
