Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype

I had high expectations when visiting this Italian restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying.

We ordered a truffle pizza and a lasagna. The pizza was extremely basic, especially considering the high price — nothing special in terms of flavor or quality. The lasagna was even more disappointing: the meat had a very unpleasant, strong smell, the pasta was burned, and it had barely any sauce. It genuinely tasted like it had been reheated from the day before.

On top of that, the service was poor. Staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which added to the negative atmosphere. And let’s not even start with the hygiene — particularly the area where they prepare juices. It looked dirty and unclean, which really made us uncomfortable about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

We were craving some Italian food. This place hit the spot. Service was good, very friendly staff and food was very well presented and warm. We ordered Poulet Farci (chicken stuffed with mushrooms), it was well presented with a layer of mashed potatoes and sauce. I felt it was a little dry and chicken was chewy but tasted good. The pasta was nice at hot with a lot of large and baby shrimps. We liked the majitos as well. Cappuccino hit the spot. If I were living here, I'd go again. I visited this evening (26/02/20) and had a very good visit. The resturant looked good and was clean and tidy.

I was seen immediately and although the young guy knew very little English, he certainly tried which I appreciated. I was solo so did keep taking in the environment and witnessed this with all of the staff - couldnt do more for you.
