Villa Majorelle — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

We came here to grab a bite to eat after exploring the YSL Museum and experienced the worst customer service we had ever encountered.

The food menu itself is very overpriced for what you are getting and the portion sizes are very very small. Overall the food is basic and nothing special.

The customer service is appalling. We sat down at a table and waited 10 minutes before anyone came up to us with a menu. When we were finally able to order the waiter ran off half way through ordering to attend to another table, and he didn’t come back until 15 minutes later.

We waited around 10 minutes for our food and were disappointed at what we received. I also ordered an additional portion of fries and they never came despite me telling the waiter when he delivered our food.

When asking for our bill, we were waiting 20 minutes for it to arrive and were demanded to leave a tip.

Eventually, the waiter who had been serving us came back and I mentioned that we had been charged fries that I didn’t receive and I wanted this taken off. He sighed incredibly loudly and said you can have them now, to which I declined as I had already eaten my food.

When we asked for the card machine, we were told to go inside, despite other customers being brought the card machine. This was not an issue but we were waiting inside for half an hour being told one minute every time we mentioned this to staff.

Upon paying there was a slight error in calculation and the waiter ran outside and started screaming (even though we hadn’t left the building and noticed the error, so we were trying to calculate what had gone wrong)

He was very rude and accusatory for no apparent reason and still insisted we leave a tip!!!

I would never come here again! The food is average at best and the staff member that served us needs to understand he is working in...

We visited this beautiful spot after our trip to Jardin Majorelle. We were seated quickly, which was a nice start. We went with the Majorelle crepes, which were actually quite good. However, the service had its downsides. Our drinks arrived after the food, which was disappointing.

The biggest issue came when we paid. The waiter informed us that the price didn’t include a tip and then stood next to us for an uncomfortable amount of time, clearly waiting for cash. Went to this cafe on 11th October 2024 .Most rudest service provided by this waiter . He was rude to my partner when we asked change of table . We have to get our own menu . He only took our order . Got our receipt mixed up . Hence I decided not to tip him and he followed me and tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers for not tipping him . I did have to speak back to him .
