Tucked away next to the YSL museum, jardin majorelle and a stone throw from the vibrant area of Gueliz. We loved the location of Moro! The boutique feel and design of the hotel moves beautifully from the outside, in and through to the magnificent Moro concept store tucked away at the back. The definition of how a concept store should be (well done to the team)!
Our room was very spacious for a family of four. With two bedrooms, two bathroom and a cosy sitting area which opened onto a private garden in the back. The bedding was very comfortable and the Moro store design accents felt throughout. There are no TVs, a plus in our book and a small kitchen area. Where we were welcomed with some water and the lovelies of oranges. The outside pool area is very tranquil however it does serve as the access point to the popular store. So if you feel a bit shy perhaps might find this a bit intimidating, our family did not.
Overall the facelift from its Palm days is clear, some areas have still room for improvements. The Reception area felt like we entered on moving day, with things wrapped in plastics, and nowhere to take a seat. As the space that should set the tone for new arrivals it has sadly been forgotten. In bathrooms we were met with design over function, with the ‘rain’ shower heads were so low our family had no chance of standing under. There is also a limit on accessing food/service. Breakfast needs confirmation the evening before and kitchen was closed at around 16 on the day of our arrival. Of course with a million places this might not be an issue for some but for anyone traveling with children arriving late or with early risers it’s good to note. In this area hotel feels a bit more like self service apartments than a hotel.
We need to also say a big thank you and mention the wonderful team in the concept store, who were fabulous, kindly providing tips and assistance whenever we asked. The kind of humans you wish were your friends so they can show you around. The cleaning team who did a fabulous job and everyone we encountered had a smile from ear to ear. So for anyone that isn’t fussed about additional amenities of the big hotels, or wants a break of staying in the Medina this is a...

The hotel is right arround the corner of ysl majorelle garden. build arround a poll and a shop and caffè.
