Yoka Sushi — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

I had a really bad experience ordering from this place via Glovo. It took over an hour to get our food ready and at the end ,half of the items promised in the menu were missing. Poke ball beef: No edamame, no radish, no grenadine, and they added mango and a lot of rice and very little pieces of beef. ( see picture) Chicago rolls : no sweet potato chips, salmon was supposed to be cooked and it was served raw instead. ( see picture) Everything was just twisted in our order. We called afterwards to ask why the restaurant asking why all the food was not served properly and that it was missing items. All they had to say is that no one complained before and that they were sorry and they ran out of certain ingredients. They didn’t bother to ask us if we wanted anything else instead of just doing whatever they like.

I ordered the seasonal sushi assortment (in the hope that it'd be fresher) and it was fishy & bland (unlike any other sushi I've had before-probably the fish was going bad). I've been glad it didn't make me sick so far especially since the waiter stomped on a cockroach near our table. I also ordered the vegetarian noodles (was hoping for something like ramen) which were soggy & tasteless. Adding soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi (though I had to ask for new bowls of this since they had been probably sitting at our table in the heat long before we arrived) made the food semi-edible though I didn't finish it. My wife ordered the lava cake with ice cream which she didn't like. I finished it for her but the cake was a bit dry. That said, I liked the ginger juice and my wife liked the orange juice. The service was pretty good with the waiter even speaking...

It was pretty disappointing, especially after Katsura and Zushi restaurants. On the first look place looks cozy, but later you notice dirty furniture, on the second floor there is very bad smell of canalization. We ordered set and couple juices. And when you order mango juice you don’t expect to have a glass of orange juice with a little bit of mango in it. Really? Sushi was ok in general, but soy sauce was so extremely salty that all taste of rolls was ruined by this extra-salt. Most of normal restaurants suggest two types of soy sauce, so it is a big minus. I have no idea if they change or have some control after wasabi and ginger on the tables - it didn’t look very trustable. I just feel sorry that I have decided to visit new place this evening....
