Tattoo-studio Morocco (Marrakech) — Local services in Marrakesh Prefecture

I’m honestly disappointed after reading so many good reviews about this studio. I thought there would be someone who spoke more English since we messaged in English and reviews said there were artists who knew English. When I arrived for my appointment, no one knew much English and it made communicating hard. On top of that, the artist was visibly annoyed at me wanting changes to the tattoo, which I don’t understand seeing as it’s my body that I’m putting something permanent onto. The tattoo itself is mediocre at best and it really felt like the “artist” was just doing whatever to get me out of the way (as opposed to creating something original...you know, like art). My partner and I decided to get tattoos last minute while on holiday. We found the tattoo studio online with great reviews and then on instagram. I messaged to enquire and received a quick response. They were great with accommodating us and gave clear instructions of how to get there. There was an ATM extremely close by to withdraw money which was very helpful. The studio had air con and we were given drinks. The studio was very clean and professional. They spoke excellent english and were very friendly. The tattoos turned out great. We visited Tattoo Studio Morocco and I will start by saying it was the worst tattoo experience I have ever had from start to finish. 3 weeks later, the tattoos have completely faded in parts.

On the last day of our trip, we got to the studio booking at our allocated slot time we booked the night before. Three of us got quoted 1200 Dirham for 2 small tattoos that took 10 mins to complete, later to be told it was 1500 Dirhams (£120) that we reluctantly paid.

The vibe of the place ruined our last day and now we’ve got home and the tattoos have healed, we’re left with them looking like this (See attached pics).
