Nice clean hotel with spacious rooms. We booked five rooms as we travelled in a large group. One family member complained of damp in their room (room 301). The other rooms were fine, the bathroom was well stocked with soaps, shampoos etc. Breakfast was nice although the service here was poor. Staff on duty seemed disinterested and not at all friendly. Orange juice had to be requested as it wasn't part of the buffet offering which was strange. Also it took time for the staff to replenish finished food items. My reason for the one star review is on the last day of our stay my 11 year old son sustained a bad cut to his foot on the top floor swimming pool. It appears that he cut it on the drain cover in the pool. Naturally we asked for assistance from the hotel and a worker came with plasters and what appeared to be iodine. As the cut was particularly bad we asked for him to be treated by a medical professional. The hotel were reasonable and took us to a clinic a couple of minutes drive away where he was seen and required an injection in the stomach, probably tetanus to prevent infection. The hotel paid for the fee but what was disappointing was the reception staff (i won't name him), said it's impossible for this to happen. I'm not sure if he was alluding to my son deliberately injuring himself but either way it's awful customer service. We asked for a reduction in the cost of our stay for the distress and discomfort caused to my son and also that it ruined our last night stay in marrakech but the hotel wasn't prepared to agree to this. For this reason i rate the hotel as 1 star.

I booked this hotel via booking.com and I booked in Dirhams. When I checked into the hotel, they wanted to charge me euros then convert into Dirhams which worked out more. My booking.com account is already in Dirhams and that’s the rate. They also added an extra 26 euro for two night two ppl city tax which is excessively high considering other hotel charge less. It feels this was done on purpose to get more out of me as they clearly didn’t like the rate of dirham that I booked online. I showed them my screen to confirm the rate but The hotel kept saying the excuse is that the conversion is different online but if this is confirmed and booked then why alter the price. I ended up paying their extortion rate but I won’t be staying again and will be submitting a complaint to booking.com The room is spacious but the noise from the nightclub next door is very loud. You’ll have double sleeping here which is a shame as the beds are comfy. There’s a rooftop pool which is nice to sunbathe and look over the city. Breakfast is ok with hot and cold items with coffee, mint tea and juice. The hotel has a small gym too and there is a small supermarket nearby. The concierge was really friendly and good at getting taxi too

Where shall begin... The man behind the reception wasn't rude he just wasn't courteous/obliging, I could say ignoring aswell. The other staff was quite friendly; housekeeping, door man & waiters. Then everything was quite dirty... elevator, windows, door handles etc. The elevator on the right side was even shaking during the ride. The facilities urgently require maintenance. At our first morning there was a dead cockroach in the breakfast room on the floor... and the coffee wasn't as good as the one upstairs in The restaurant, inedible. We booked the hotel mainly because of the spa and pool area. But the spa/hammam was closed while we were there and the pool didn't really look welcoming. We were really disappointed Oh and the man didn't even say goodbye nor thank you after checking out. Waiters were really friendly and coffee in the restaurant as well the bread from breakfast was delicious.

Everything worked! Reception at check-in; the lifts to the upper and lower floors; the door keycard which also was necessary to use to turn on the electricity in the room; the a/c worked (very necessary, as it was extremely hot in Marrakech at that time); the fridge (which had a bottle of water in it - gratis!); and everything in the bathroom. The big bed and the pillows and the linen were all acceptable.||There were not enough power points in the room however; and the one that was there was inconveniently located.||Breakfast is free, and available from a room two levels down in the basement; windowless, etc. It was a large spread. And all the tables were being used. There were more than 60 people in there!. Mostly Moroccan. I only went once. People /guests were stealing things: nuts and dried fruit, boiled eggs. yogourts, fruit, bread, etc. It was very unattractive and upsetting for me. Real freshly-squeezed orange juice was being served. The coffee was OK. The staff sort of coped.||I was impressed with the Hotel's attention to security. They need to keep this up - even improve on it.||I used several other facilities at the hotel, and they were good. Pricing is moderate (for the Gueliz area). The Sports bar located on the corner opposite the front entrance to the Hotel was very good: large, with many screens, wonderful bar, and the food was exceptionally good. Clean and...

Large, clean rooms, excellent location. Good breakfast but often items not available in time or poorly cooked, for example the lentils were superb one day and the next day just boiled with no sauce or flavour. Milk ran out without being replaced. Hotel manual staff were unable to speak English or French. Desk staff were generally okay but the bus tours organised from the hotel were very long, delays picking up clients, some vehicles below standard. I asked the female desk staff person if the tour coach had air con. She replied " well, we all like to have air con, don't we?" I thought that was rude and unprofessional to a fair question. Drivers varied from very good to awful. Our driver was very good but too casual about time keeping on a 13 hour tour. Our friends went on another tour on a coach with seat belts not working properly and sub standard air con. Coaches get very hot without it. Hotel tours should be more reliable with standards. The hotel overall is very pleasant. We booked a triple room but we got a large double and the female desk staff did not adjust it on request to the triple we paid for. The bathroom was well appointed but dangerously slippery getting in and out of thr shower unit. The duvets were massive snd completely ridiculous for summer. I asked for thinner duvets and didn't get them. This hotel has a lot of potential but is being run a little...
