Chiesa Madre dei Santi Martiri — Attraction in Marrakesh Prefecture

Such a lovely sanctuary. I attended English mass last Sunday and the singing by the Asian singer was amazing! She has a powerful voice. And to hear again the latin mass Angelis recalled my grandparents when I was just a child in Spain. It made the mass alive, many parishioners joined singing. They also provided a copy of songs/program which makes it easier for the people to follow mass. Last time I visited this church they just have an audio music from a laptop that stops from one moment to another. It's a bit disturbing the mass. I hope the singing will continue to encourage visitors and tourists finishing...

I have left the Catholic church since many years because in Europe it is dead. But since I am living in Marrakesh I go every Sunday for holy mass because it’s really emotional and living and holy mass at 10.30 am every Sunday is like a gospel event. There is the may be best choir of morocco. Most of the singers of from Cameroon. With their wonderful voices they are not only singing African church music but as well good polyphonic French church music even better than you find it in France. . You will be in a high mood when you return from church. Don’t miss it Easter...

I was looking for a church in Morocco. This is the catholic church. The choir is also awesome. I found a second church a protestant church but timing was for 6:30pm.

I hope there are some home churches in Morocco too. For now this is the christian community I could find.

As a non-catholic, I am learning to look on to Jesus and not anybody else.
