BICA Maputo — Restaurant in Maputo

Really nice environment to just chill, get some work done or enjoy the fresh air in the outdoor space, get a drink and hangout with friends or by yourself even. I already enjoyed this space to relax by myself when it was only Mundos, but now with this new cafe it really adds more to the environment. I had a coffee frappé. It was really good! Very well balanced as well. I also had a cheese and bacon toast which was equally good, i just forgot to take a picture. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I’ll definitely be going back!

I came on a Saturday afternoon. It was fairly quiet. I got the dirty chai and the French Avo. The dirty chai was delicious! The French Avo was good but could be better. The croissant was soft, buttery and flaky. Basically perfect! The dish definitely needed two eggs. The chill sauce was interesting, not bad, but flavor wise did not flow like you would expect.

I would come back though! The coffee here is one of the best...
