Bella Madallena — Restaurant in Maputo

I can consider this place one of the most fun and worth visiting in Maputo. It’s just a great athmosphere. People dancing, having fun. Even if you are not into dancing, just watching the ambiance makes you already feel better.

Lovely place, service is good, but slow. The system is a bit weird, with coupons and cards to pay at the end. Which makes it a little slow. I guess it’s one way to do it.

Stopped by with the hopes of ordering the plate of the day, but they were sold out so I grabbed a prego w/ a side chips. The prego was topped with tomato, lettuce, cheese and an egg. It was extremely filling and the chips were perfect once I added salt.

They have a mix of fresh juice, drinks, small plates, sandwiches, salads, steaks, seafood and desserts.

Very nice place for work day lunch, very affordable daily dishes and also other options à la carte. The service is a bit slow and our waiter forgot one of the orders, but no big deal.
