Disappointing Brunch Experience

We visited this restaurant for brunch, but unfortunately, many dishes were unavailable. While we understood the unique challenges the country was facing, which the staff mentioned, we were still disappointed by the limited options.

A server recommended a dish—a salmon bagel—that was supposedly available. However, after a short wait, the server returned to inform us that the bagel bread was out of stock and offered an alternative bread instead. We agreed to the substitution, but it turned out to be a poor decision. The bread used for the sandwich was extremely dry and unappetizing. Honestly, I don’t understand why it was even presented as an option.

A person who appeared to be the manager later checked on us. I explained the issue, and he noticed that the bread hadn’t been touched. He kindly offered to rectify the mistake, but we were short on time and couldn’t wait for a replacement. We decided to finish with the pancakes we had ordered, which were thankfully fresh and delicious.

The final disappointment came with the bill: we were still charged for the dry salmon sandwich, despite the poor quality and the manager’s acknowledgment of the issue.

It’s a great environment I must say, although the location is a bit hidden. In the back of a business Center, which makes it hard to find if you haven’t been to the place before. But once you get there, it’s a great environment for a business chat and coffee, and even birthday parties, which is what I went there for.

Something to improve though, is the food, although is great in taste, and presentation, I feel like the combination of some of the plates are a bit too creative and gives a rather stronger flavour to the plate then what you’d normally expect. Not a bad thing, some people like trying new food.

The burger in the photo is called “Sem pidas”, which is a mix of burger patty, pineapple and shrimp. It’s an explosion of flavours that leaves your mouth watering and taste buds confused. If there is something to improve on that, is perhaps, take the pineapple out. 3 different flavours can be a bit too much for an average food explorer.

A great location for a weekend brunch. They’re well located in the suburban side of town and near Campo de Fiori in case you’re wanting to stop by their occasional markets. They offer some unique dishes, a good variety of burgers and some interesting fusion options. Their halloumi was a little more sour than preferred, and their shakshuka was slightly under-seasoned for our taste. All in all food is overall well seasoned and they serve good portion sizes.
