Botanica — Restaurant in Maputo

Came here for a light lunch. The appetizers are great for that purpose. The restaurant decoration, a full open air space is a must, with lots of plants, that give a refreshing sensation, especially good in a warm day, as there are plenty of these in Maputo. The rest of the menu seems interesting as well. It's a pitty there's no baclava in the dessert menu, as this is a Greek food inspired...

Even though the temperature was quite low, the atmosphere is on point and theme with the restaurants name adding quite a big of cosiness to it. The service was good, both Paulo and Greg were quick and helpful to a point where i was kindly offered a digital menu due to the dimmed lights. I had cheese samosas with honey and whiskey cola. Really great atmosphere at night, a beautiful garden/courtyard. Some reviews say it is expensive, but no more so than any other nice restaurant in Maputo. Good vegetarian options and big portions, very happy to recommend it. Difficult to find - opposite the clinic there is an unmarked doorway from the street (suggestion to owner - a small sign...
