I only take the time to write this review because of my immense disappointment. My friends and I had a TERRIBLE experience at Memories. We arrived at about 8:30pm and asked for virgin cocktails. The waiter brought us cocktails with alcohol. Upon flagging this, we were then served what was believed to be virgin cocktails but this turned out to be some bland ceres juice like beverage. We conveyed our dissatisfaction a second time and the waiter decides on his own to bring what he believes is a virgin cocktail and not just some juice. In the end we were patient enough to sit through three attempts to get served the right drink. Finally at 10pm(an hour and half later) our food it arrives. My question is, did we order the wrong food? Were we just unlucky? Because the food was strangely bland, tasteless, badly presented and really tasted bad. I am really trying to find a way to be kind as I write this but its a tug of war between honesty and giving a chance to someone running a business. Honestly there is no nice way to say that food was mediocre. We ordered the french fries with feta; they were soggy and drenched in oil and less than averagely plated. The los Tacos with shrimp; well they decided to instead replace the shrimp with RAW chicken. In all of my vegetarian life, and all the mistakes that a chef can make, I have never been served raw chicken, uncooked chicken! I thought it was a chunk of tuna cooked to rare. Please, uncooked chicken! how? Where on earth? And why really? Whatever you do, do not order the Arancini memories, very bland and weird. The Crab salad; the only suitable description is a really "bad word " and I will leave it at that. But maybe the picture below can somehow convey the word I dare not to use just because I am trying to not be destructive even though we were badly served! We had no condiments, salt or pepper to try and attenuate this horrible experience. All I can say is I have bad memories and will not be going back there at all. It's very unfair to be that negligent. I ate raw chicken for crying out loud! I wish I had taken pictures of the red flesh of the chicken chunks but they are in my tummy at the moment giving me diarrhea and nausea. We tried to eat because after two hours of waiting we were famished. But it was just too bad that we left with our empty tummies and a day later my tummy is doing gymnastics....
Read moreMemories is truly a gem that lives up to its name. From the moment you step in, the ambiance envelops you in a warm embrace, with just the right amount of dim lighting to set the mood. Opting to sit outside, we were greeted by attentive staff whose thoughtfulness added an extra layer of charm to the experience.
Embarking on a culinary journey, we indulged in an array of delights. Starting with tantalizing tacos as appetizers, each bite was a burst of flavor. For the main course, the surf and turf and ribeye with chips stole the spotlight, showcasing the chef's expertise in crafting dishes that tantalize the taste buds.
However, the star of the evening undoubtedly was the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Decadent, rich, and utterly irresistible, it was a symphony of flavors that left a lasting impression.
Beyond the culinary delights, Memories offers an aesthetic haven perfect for capturing moments to cherish forever. Every corner of the restaurant is Instagram-worthy, making it not just a dining experience but a visual feast as well.
Overall, Memories is a culinary journey that transcends mere dining. It's an unforgettable experience that lingers in your mind long after the last bite. If you're looking for a place that combines delectable cuisine, thoughtful service, and an ambiance that's nothing short of magical, look no further...
Read moreI visited this restaurant last Friday and was really disappointed. I’m not sure if management has changed, but the experience was far worse compared to my previous visits last year.
Everyone at our table was dissatisfied with their meals. The meat was dry, dishes were served incorrectly—chips instead of mashed potatoes—and vegetables were either missing or didn’t match what was listed on the menu.
The most frustrating part is that while prices have gone up, the quality has dropped significantly. For instance, one of us ordered a Tomahawk steak for 2300mts, and we specifically requested it with mashed potatoes since they informed they didn’t have the sweet potatoes as per the menu. They confirmed it was possible and would serve that way, yet the plate arrived with just the meat and chips. We’ve had better Tomahawk steaks elsewhere for a fraction of the price, and better quality.
I strongly urge management to review their service and food quality. This experience was disappointing, and I hope they make improvements.
(Attached: a picture of the Tomahawk steak we received. Also attached the surf and turf plate were the vegetables were only carrots and spinach and no broccolis as the menu and as you can see no...
