The good: Great service and food along with green areas for kids to play while you eat or drink. The caipirinhas are great but they need to ease up on the sugar. This is a very relaxed place inside a park. The park is fenced are there is usually a guard by the entrance. There are weekly or monthly farmers market or vendors but they need to be better about spreading the word about their events. The area is generally very safe. I hear others saying the place is overpriced. This place is in one of the best neighborhoods of Maputo, so is priced accordingly.
The not so good: if you look foreign, the waiters will ask you for a tip. Of note, in mozambique is not common to tip at all. Employees have a living wage. the park is run down and not well maintained as well as the public restrooms. There are street vendors that harass you depending on the day. People love to smoke here and not everyone is into it. There is parking available on the street but you will also get harassed to pay for it. better park half a street...
Read moreFood was amazing. I had something like caffe a la crème, which tasted like cappuccino icecream so it was more like a dessert than a drink. The pasta portion was great and flavours were amazing - I was actually impressed by the diversity of options in the menu! They have pasta, ravioli, gnocchi, and so many sauces to go with. Dessert options are also varied, whether you want tiramisu or mousse or signature icecream cups.
The atmosphere is very lively as it's in a park, and there is a playground in front of the restaurant to entertain kids. It can be VERY busy here on weekends.

Would definitely recommend. At last, we ordered some ice cream, but unfortunately they did not have ice cream cones, so we had to settle for plastic cups. Overall, it was a very...
