The Backroom — Restaurant in Maputo

Awesome bar with an equally awesome atmosphere and great food menu too. I spent a few nights and one day in this bar and really enjoyed it: great live local music, wide range of drinks, and all the food I had was very tasty (especially the cakes and the chicken wings). I previously gave this bar a very good review unfortunately after being going there regularly for a while we discovered that the staff were systematically adding items onto our bill each time. When we confronted them our former BFFs all disappeared. I informed the manager who asked us to come in so he could talk with us. We got a very shallow apology and not even the offer of a beer. Its a shame this type of behaviour occurs. Needless to say we haven't...
